What is "Meet and greet airport parking" ?

Simply drive to the terminal, meet your driver, let them park your car for you, and the driver will drop your car back at the terminal ready for your return. A great option when travelling with a family.

How does Meet and Greet work?

Drive straight to the airport terminal and meet your driver. Hand over your car keys and the driver will quickly inspect your vehicle. Make your way to check-in while the driver takes your car to the nearby secured car park.
When you return give them a call after baggage claim and they will bring your car back to the terminal. Meet the driver again, collect your keys and continue on your way home.

What is "Valet Airport Parking" ?

There are a couple of variations on Valet airport parking but the concept is basically the same: it means that you can bypass the car park and drive straight to the airport terminal where you meet a driver from the company you booked with.
This type of airport parking is perhaps more commonly referred to as Meet and Greet airport parking. Please read the car park service description if you are unclear what it involves. This shouldn't be confused with a Valeting service which means your car gets washed while you are away.

What is "On-airport parking" ?

On-airport parking is parking that is within the airport boundary - Despite being within the airport it is sensible to check the transfer times and distance to the terminals, as airports can be deceptively big. In general the closer you are to the terminal the more you pay for the convenience.

What is "Off-airport parking" ?

Off-airport parking is parking that is located outside the airport boundary - Despite being outside the airport boundaries it is worth checking the transfer times from these car parks as, very occasionally, they are closer than on-airport facilities.

What is "Secured airport parking" ?

You can park your car at the airport or close to the airport depending on your budget. All airport car parks include transfers to the airport and then back to your car park.

What is "Park and Ride airport parking" ?

The most common parking service at airports - Just as with city centre park and rides the service will pick you up and return you to your car which will stay securely in the car park.

What do I do if my flight is delayed and I go over my pre-booked parking period?

Dont worry, on your return you can pay any additional hours or days locally at the car park. Any additional hours or days will be charged at the car park's local rate.

Will I be charged a cancellation fee for my airport parking booking?

When you book, you are offered the option of taking out our cancellation waiver, which means you will get your money back if you cancel your booking. The cancellation waiver costs 99p.

If you have not taken out the cancellation protection, you will be charged a cancellation fee of £9.50
Unfortunately, if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, we cannot give you a refund, even if you have taken out cancellation protection, because we will be charged by the supplier. We also cannot refund supersaver bookings, because they are made at a special low price. If you leave the car park early and do not use all the days you booked, we cannot give you a refund, again because we are charged by the supplier.

Is there a transfer bus to the airport?

Transfer buses are usually included in the parking cost but you will need to check with your parking provider for confirmation.

Will I have to hand over my car keys?

The majority of our car parks do require you to hand over your keys, there are some car parks that allow you to park the car yourself. Please use the 'more info' link found under the product to check the car parking arrangements.

Do you have to pay in full at the time of making the booking?

Yes, full payment is taken at the time of booking. You can take out our cancellation waiver, and if you do need to cancel, as long as you do it with at least 24 hours' notice, you'll receive a full refund.
